Spend Some Time with Our FDD
While we’re making sure you’re financially qualified, you’ll spend time with our Franchise Disclosure Document, or FDD. An FDD is a very important document that all franchisors are required to have and share with our potential franchise partners who are serious about an AFC investment. Our FDD goes over nearly everything you need to know about us, including who our founders are, our history, what’s expected of you as a franchisee, and what you can expect from us as a franchisor. Because there’s a great deal of information contained in an FDD, you’ll have at least two weeks to go over it. Of course, we’re also available to answer any questions you might have because we want to ensure you’re as educated as possible about our offering before you make any decisions.
Enjoy a Virtual Discovery Day
Traditionally, one of the last and most important steps toward opening an AFC urgent care clinic franchise is taking part in a Discovery Day — it’s a designated day for potential franchisees to spend at our corporate headquarters to meet key players and get a real feel for our brand. Discovery Days are still a critical part of our process, but because of COVID-19, we’re now conducting them virtually for a safe but no less enjoyable and informative experience.
Prospective franchisees first receive a series of webinars that include an introduction to the company, an outline of the operations, and an overview of construction. After that, participants are invited to join a Zoom call where members of the AFC team, including the C-suite and Bruce Irwin, MD, Founder and CEO of American Family Care, are in attendance to talk about the opportunity, interact with prospective franchisees, and answer any questions they may have.
