During this call, our franchise development team will discuss your professional background, entrepreneurial goals, and alignment with AFC's values and franchise requirements. We'll also provide insights into the AFC franchise opportunity, including initial investment expectations and support structures available to franchisees.

As you progress in your journey to becoming an American Family Care franchisee, you will receive the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). This comprehensive legal document provides detailed insights into the rights and responsibilities of both franchisees and the franchisor.

During this phase, our franchise development team is available to address any questions or concerns regarding the FDD and the AFC franchise opportunity. We encourage open dialogue to facilitate a transparent and collaborative partnership throughout the franchise approval process. Candidates are encouraged to consult with legal counsel during this phase of the process. 

One of the most valuable steps in your journey to becoming an American Family Care franchisee is connecting with current franchise owners. This opportunity allows you to gain firsthand insights into the AFC franchise experience and understand what operating in our network is like.

You'll be required to provide comprehensive documentation, including background checks, financial statements, and other necessary disclosures. These ensure that you meet AFC's qualifications and standards for franchise ownership. You’ll also have an informal interview with the leadership team, where we will all have the chance to get to know each other better. 

After successfully completing your due diligence, the next exciting step in your journey to becoming an American Family Care franchisee is attending our Discovery Day. This immersive event, which takes place at our headquarters in Birmingham, AL, is designed to give you a deeper understanding of AFC's culture, operations, and support systems. You will meet subject matter experts and hear from key leaders of our team.

Upon completing the Discovery Day and fulfilling all requirements, you will receive confirmation that you have been approved as a qualified care provider for an AFC franchise. This acknowledgment reflects AFC's confidence in your ability to uphold our standards of excellence and commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Step 8 solidifies your commitment to AFC and marks the beginning of your role as an official franchise owner within the AFC network.

Upon signing the franchise agreement, you will pay the initial franchise fee as specified in the agreement terms. This fee covers the rights to use the AFC brand, access to AFC's proven business system, initial training, and ongoing support.
